Our client is a growing boutique firm that provides accounting and advisory services to public and private companies. This is a great opportunity to work closely with the partners and managers and will be responsible for planning engagements and performing fieldwork for a diverse client base. Duties include the following:
• Planning and executing of fieldwork from start to finish – budgeting of engagements and supervising junior staff. • Liaising with clients, being the first point of contact and providing feedback to the partners. • Researching complex accounting issues, keeping current on IFRS and other auditing standards. • Assisting partners with business consulting work on financial reporting for clients. The successful candidate will be a CPA student with1-2 years experience working in a CPA firm. In addition to your technical abilities, you will have strong interpersonal skills and be a team player to work in smaller environment. This firm offers an excellent work-life balance and minimal OT hours that can be banked for time off during the summer months.
