Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager- PMO to work on High Voltage projects based in Vancouver.

The Role:

In this key role you will act as performance and process improvement liaison with a major BC based client, leading project teams to setup and maintain standard “best practice” project methods and tools.

 You must maintain focus on key operational areas through the development, reporting and analysis of metrics and support achievement of performance targets through continuous improvement and process optimization. You will also effectively manage change in a fast paced, high growth company.

 Requirements:

 ·A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering from a recognized institution.

 ·A minimum of 8 years experience in Project Management in an EPC/ EPCM or operations environment

 

·Strong client focus, initiative, and ability manage change and achieve results and closure.

 ·Strong ability to establish, apply & manage standard (best) practices and procedures.

 ·Conversant in both the project management body of knowledge and process improvement methodologies.

 · Outgoing with strong ability to meet and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.

 ·Excellent knowledge and ability to work with large enterprise software systems and databases.

 ·Knowledge of PM+, PDM  tools would be an asset.

 · Occasional travel may be required.
